Pambrun Collection

Sourced from our plantings on the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley, the Pambrun Explorer Collection tells the story and heritage of Founder & CEO Jim Bernau's ancestors, Pierre and Kitty Pambrun, who operated the Nez Percés Trading Post for the Hudson's Bay Company in 1832. Pierre became Walla Walla’s First Citizen, ushering in a time of peace and commerce in the Columbia Basin. 

About the wines:

2021 Pambrun Cabernet Sauvignon
Crimson red in the glass, the wine draws you close with aromatics of crushed herb, black currant and red clay. The French oak barrels add flavors of toasted oak, dark chocolate and fresh espresso. Time in the barrel lends to a fruit-forward finish with lively tannins and an opportunity to age this bottle for years to come. Grown in the Walla Walla AVA.

2021 Pambrun Chrysologue
This Bordeaux-style blend offers a layered nose of currant, black cherry, cola, cassis and caramel. The palate is characterized by powerful structured tannins, balancing acidity and concentration that indicate age-worthiness, and flavors of dark fruit including plum and boysenberry, graphite, bergamot, dark chocolate and florals. Grown in the Walla Walla AVA.

2021 Pambrun Merlot
The wine offers soft aromas of pistachio, crème de cassis, boysenberry and herbs de provence. The palate allures with flavors of loganberry, cherry liquor, cedar spice and coffee. Balanced acidity and French oak barrel notes create a profile of opulence and fresh red fruit flavors. Grown in the Walla Walla AVA.
