Staff from various departments worked as a team to develop an experimental block of Sauvignon Blanc at Tualatin Estate Vineyard as a "vine to wine" educational project. They researched rootstocks and vine materials, helped plant and farm the vines. This bottling represents our team's collaborative approach of making the highest quality wines possible from the Willamette Valley appellation and continuing to tell the Oregon story through unique offerings.
On the Nose: Pale straw in color, a subtle and sweet nose offers soft aromas of honeysuckle, passionfruit, cantaloupe and jasmine flowers.
On the Palate: Medium-bodied, the palate features notes of candied lime peel, dried apricot, kiwi and pineapple. Succulent and tart fruit flavors are framed by a crisp acidity that leads to a lingering, refreshing finish.
Food Pairings: Enjoy with a variety of dishes, including Italian sausage and spinach ravioli, lemon caper pasta with shrimp and salads with herbal vinaigrette and goat cheese.

Tualatin Estate Vineyard
Tualatin Hills AVA
Tualatin Estate Vineyard, established in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, is one of the oldest and most respected vineyard sites in Oregon. Covered in Laurelwood soil and Pisolites, the slope is south-facing with an elevation of 250-530 feet. Wine grapes from this 171-acre vineyard have produced world-renowned wines for more than 45 years. Tualatin is the only vineyard to have won the Best of Show for both the red and white categories at the London International Wine Competition in the same year. This is a feat unduplicated by any Oregon winery. Tualatin Estate Vineyard is proudly owned through a merger with Willamette Valley Vineyards accomplished in 1997.
