Planted in 2018 with 15-acres of Syrah, Grenache and Viognier. It is located at the entrance to The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA and sits at one of the higher elevations to minimize frost damage. The site also features some of the largest stones in the appellation, because it was in the center of the path of the Walla Walla River where the water was moving the swiftest to leave these large deposits.
Sourced from the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, this wine opens with alluring violet, black cherry and fennel notes. Luscious blackberry and fig flavors are followed on the palate by cola and crème de cassis. The wine has balanced tannins, pleasant acidity and a lasting finish.
Food Pairings: Enjoy with pork tenderloin, pan-roasted duck breast with fruit compote and firm savory cheeses.
