2022 Elton Florine Pinot Noir

Made exclusively from a single block at Elton Vineyard planted in 2000 and named New Century Block, this block features tighter vine spacing creating competition among the vines to create small yields of high-quality Pinot Noir.

On the Nose: Garnet in the glass, the wine opens with sweet aromas of brown sugar, raspberry and pomegranate before transitioning into a deeper nose of sarsaparilla, cinnamon stick and white pepper.

On the Palate: The Pinot Noir fruit is highlighted with flavors of black cherry, raspberry and strawberry alongside unique notes of black tea, baking spices, dried lavender and jerky. The acidity is balanced with a medium body and pleasant tannins, giving the wine a soft finish.

Food Pairings: Enjoy with ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and chèvre, porchetta pork tenderloin, saucy peach chicken and soft cheeses.
