As part of our Oregon mission to dedicate boutique brands on some of Oregon's most intriguing vineyard sites, we created Elton to share the legacy of the vineyard founded by Dick and Betty O'Brien in 1983. Our Self-Rooted Pinot Noir is sourced from their plantings.
On the Nose: Abundant colors of ruddy pink and red move through the glass. Layered aromas of marionberry, red currant and vanilla shift to reveal a touch of baking spice.
On the Palate: Lush fruit flavors of cherry and cranberry blend with natural tannins, evoking black tea and pepper. The wine is medium to full-bodied and lingers on the palate with red fruit notes and barrel spice.
Food pairings: Try with white cheese and cherry tomato sausage flatbread, hazelnut-crusted salmon and ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and chèvre.
