Sourced from old vine plantings at our Elton Vineyard, founded in 1983 by Dick and Betty O’Brien, on the east-southeast slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills. With over a decade and a half of careful bottle maturation, this is one of the first Pinot Noirs bottled from our Elton Vineyard and showcases why this is such an esteemed and award-winning wine vineyard.
On the Nose: Aromas of cherry tobacco, dark chocolate, baked raspberries, and red currant fill the glass.
On the Palate: Flavors of dried cherries, rose petals, black tea, and crushed cinnamon lightly dance on the palate. Drink now and enjoy a sip of history.
Food pairings: Beef bourguignon, red wine caramelized Pork Belly, and Mushroom Stroganoff.
