An illustration of the art of blending, the Signature Cuvee is selected from the finest barrels sourced from our Estate, Elton and Tualatin Estate Vineyards. Ruby in color, it is a wonderfully complex wine that delivers fruit, earth and spice. On the palate, the wine shows balance of structure with firm tannins and lifting acidity. The palate exudes flavors of marionberry, black cherry, mushroom and wood spice. With site driven diversity, we are able to craft this wine to our precise and quality standards. Sourced exclusively from 15 acres of Pinot Noir from the first plantings at the Estate Vineyard, Founder Jim Bernau planted these vines using a Christmas tree planter pulled behind his 33 horsepower tractor.He grafted the French clones 667 and 777 on a portion of the vines when they became available.

The warm growing season of 2014 resulted in perfectly ripe fruit with intense colors and concentrated flavors. Ruby colored in the glass, the wine opens with a complex nose of plum, boysenberry, violets, cologne, tobacco and cigar box. Showcasing grace and finesse, the flavors brighten on the medium bodied palate with red fruit framed by wood spice, nutmeg and graphite. The well-structured, polished tannins and balancing acidity suggest this wine will further reward those with patience. Peak drinkability: 2016 - 2022.

In 1973, Bill Fuller moved from California to plant the Tualatin Vineyard as one of the original Oregon winemakers. Bill was recognized for many firsts in our industry including his 1989 Chardonnay being the first Oregon wine to be named to the Wine Spectator Top 100 List. Bill rejoined our winemaking team for his 40th vintage to make small lots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from his favorite blocks using his traditional techniques. We are proud to present Bill's Vintage 41 Chardonnay featuring citrus and spice notes and elegant balance.

The 2015 Estate Pinot Noir expresses the terroir of our three vineyards - the original planting by Founder, Jim Bernau at the winery in the Salem Hills, Tualatin Estate planted by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller in the foothills of the Coastal Range and Elton planted by Dick and Betty O'Brien on the east face of the Eola-Amity Hills.

This wine exemplifies the "Oregon style" with the vintage being the warmest on record. Complex aromas of black cherry, dried herbs, floral and spice create an alluring nose. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and flavors of blackberry, bergamot, anise and cedar. Exceptionally balanced with velvety tannins, lively acidity and a lingering finish. Peak drinkability 2017-2022.
