Named one of Seattle Times' 50 best wines of 2015

Dick and Betty O’Brien began planting Elton Vineyards in 1983. They have dedicated their lives to environmental stewardship and industry leadership. This small bottling is a tribute to their contribution in helping build the Oregon wine industry.

Deep garnet in color, the 2012 O'Brien Pinot Noir offers a complex aroma profile with notes of condensed raspberry and blackberry, savory thyme and rosemary herbs and enticing baking spices. Powerful on the palate and packed with flavors of tropical guava fruit, currant, fig, macerated raspberry, cassis, wet earth and dark chocolate. The full-bodied sip is graceful, well-rounded by exceptionally integrated tannins and balancing acidity, and relinquishes a lithe finish so long, it creates a memory. Everything is turned up to a ten in this wine.

Bill Fuller, one of Oregon’s first emigrating winemakers began planting Tualatin Estate in 1973. This small bottling is a tribute to his contribution in helping build the Oregon wine industry.

Garnet in color, this intriguing nose showcases spices of nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa powder centered around a deeply concentrated core of cherry and currant fruit. The mouthfeel is lush with a sweet fruit middle, reminiscent of cordial cherry, then moving in to notes of sandalwood, cedar and star anise. Poised structure of velvety tannins and balancing acidity lead to an ample finish.

Deep garnet in color with an attractive perfume of red fruits, minerals, spice, earth and a hint of toasted barrel. On the palate it is plush, bordering opulent, silky textured with notes of raspberry danish, blueberry jam, tropical guava, confectioners sugar, rich clay soil and slate. Juicy, seamless tannins create a smooth sip. Peak drinkability 2015-2020.

The palate exudes flavors of marionberry, black cherry, mushroom and wood spice. With site driven diversity, we are able to craft this wine to our precise and quality standards. In 1973, Bill Fuller moved from California to plant the Tualatin Vineyard as one of the original Oregon winemakers. Bill was recognized for many firsts in our industry including his 1989 Chardonnay being the first Oregon wine to be named to the Wine Spectator Top 100 List. Bill rejoined our winemaking team for his 40th vintage to make small lots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from his favorite blocks using his traditional techniques. We are proud to present Bill's Vintage 41 Chardonnay featuring citrus and spice notes and elegant balance.
