Spicy Peanut Sauce

Spicy Peanut Sauce

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 Tbsp. garlic, fresh minced
1/3 cup sugar
5 oz. light soy sauce
5 oz. rice wine vinegar
3 Tbsp. hot sesame oil
1 Tbsp. cilantro
1/8 tsp. crushed red chilies


In a mixer, cream the peanut butter, garlic and sugar with a paddle attachment. Use medium speed for 4-5 minutes. In a separate bowl mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar and hot sesame oil. Slowly add the vinegar mixture to the peanut butter and continue to mix for 3-4 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Add the cilantro and crushed red chili’s until well blended. Store refrigerated overnight until needed. Serve with chicken satay, pad thai noodles or stir fry.
