Chilled Strawberry Gazpacho

Chilled Strawberry Gazpacho

Prep Time: 20 minutes

4 lbs strawberries, hulled rough chop

1/2 cup grapefruit juice

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cucumber, peeled & diced

2 each sliced scallion

1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

2 tsp grated ginger

1/2 cup orange juice as needed


This fresh and lusciously sweet tasting treat is unlike anything you will ever taste. The juice from the strawberries mixed with the bite from the grated ginger and the citrus grapefruit juice, creates a combination of unique and rich flavor. We suggest pairing it with our 2013 Sweet Tempranillo leads with aromas of vanilla extract, cotton candy, and honey. 


Mix all ingredients together and place into two containers. Puree 1/2 of the ingredients in a blender and fold into remaining ingredients.
